For the first time in months there are currently no evacuated communities in the province.

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency says evacuation orders have been lifted for Jans Bay, Patuanak, La Plonge Reserve as well as priority individuals from Beauval.

The province’s Recovery Task Team is working with communities on debris removal, assessing household needs and connecting individuals to support services.

But the western provinces are being told to prepare for more wildfire activity throughout the rest of summer.

A federal update suggests the Prairies will continue to be drier and hotter than normal.
