During subsequent investigation, with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services, a firearm and ammunition were located and seized in a rural area on George Gordon First Nation.
24-year-old Xavier Worm from Regina, SK is charged with: attempted murder; discharge a firearm with intent; possession of a prohibited firearm without authorization or license and resist/obstruct peace officer.
Xavier Worm appeared in Regina Provincial Court on August 20, 2025.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Regina General Investigation Section (GIS) continue to investigate.
RCMP have not released many details on an incident yesterday morning at George Gordon First Nation.
Around 8:30 Punnichy RCMP received a report of an injured female near a home in the community.
She was transported to hospital by STARS air ambulance with serious injuries.
Police say an adult male was found nearby and was arrested.
The investigation continues.
