Three people are facing charges in connection to drone-related drug trafficking investigations in Prince Albert.

Early this month RCMP received a report of a delivery of drugs to the Saskatchewan Penitentiary by drone.

A 36-year-old woman was later arrested at a home in Laird.

On July 13th Mounties received a report that a drone had dropped a package within the grounds of the Penitentiary.

A 31-year-old woman from Garson Lake and 38-year-old man from Biggar are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

They also face charges under the Canadian Aviation Regulations.
