The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency has issued a mandatory evacuation order for the community of Sucker River.
Lac La Ronge Indian Band Chief Tammy Cook-Searson posted an update on Facebook this morning.
Band officials say they are making arrangements for buses, gas for vehicles and the RedCross on accommodations.
The JRMCC in La Ronge will be the meeting place for Sucker River.
The La Ronge Tri Community and Stanley Mission are also on standby notice as the Pisew Fire is 16 kms away from the La Ronge.
The road will be compromised to Stanley Mission.
