Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team located and arrested Maverick Eninew in Deschambault Lake on June 23, 2025.

He is scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on June 25, 2025

A 26-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after a death in Deschambault Lake.

Shortly after 4pm Wednesday RCMP received a call about an altercation between two people.

Police say a 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Steven Michel.

Mounties are on the lookout for Maverick Eninew who faces a murder charge. (Pictured above)

Eninew is known to travel in the Deschambault Lake and Prince Albert areas.

The RCMP also provided a photo of a tattoo on one of Eninew’s hands:
