Chief Larry Ahenakew has been re-elected as chief of Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation.
The Cree Nation held their election earlier this week.
Ahenakew won the vote for chief with 588 votes while his nearest challenger received 224 voted.
The band also elected 12 councilor positions.
The newly elected chief and council will serve three year terms.
