Multiple charges have been laid after a reported shooting on James Smith Cree Nation this past weekend.
RCMP say Three people have been arrested and a fourth suspect is being sought in connection to to the shooting incident they say happened early Saturday morning.
According to RCMP, officers located an injured man in a home on the community.
He would be transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries described as a gunshot wound.
Mounties say the believe multiple suspects had entered the home, threatened all the residents, eventually shooting the man and assault other occupants.
Following an investigation and search RCMP were able to arrest three individuals
27 year-old Keistin Deschambeault of Nipawin, 27-year-old Lyric Arcand and 27-year-old Samara Head, both of James Smith Cree Nation, have all been arrested.
They face numerous charged relating to guns and break and enter.
In the meantime, Mounties continue to search for another woman believed to be involved in the incident.
Police say further updates will be provided when available.
They also say they do not believe this was a random incident.
