Saskatchewan RCMP continue to search for Kobe Kiseyinewakup; believed to be in Pierceland or Loon Lake area

Saskatchewan RCMP continue searching for 26-year-old Kobe Kiseyinewakup, who escaped the Besnard Lake Correctional Centre on April 14, 2025.

He has been charged with one count of escaping lawful custody, Section 145(1), Criminal Code and one count, being unlawfully at large, Section 145(1), Criminal Code in relation to this incident (Information #90410020).

Loon Lake RCMP have twice located Kobe Kiseyinewakup in their detachment area – near Loon Lake on April 26 and on Island Lake First Nation on May 7.

During these incidents, officers have engaged their emergency lights and attempted to stop the vehicle, which fled.

As a result of investigation into these incidents, Kobe Kiseyinewakup has been charged with two counts each of flight from peace officer, Section 320.17, Criminal Code and operation of a conveyance while prohibited, Section 320.18, Criminal Code (Informations #90564126 and 90547813).

Kobe Kiseyinewakup is wanted on warrants in relation to all of these charges and Saskatchewan RCMP is actively working to arrest him.

Investigators believe he may be in the Pierceland or Loon Lake areas. He may be driving or in a black Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows.

Kobe Kiseyinewakup is described as approximately 5’6″ tall and approximately 160 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.

If you see Kobe Kiseyinewakup or the Dodge Charger, do not approach. Call police immediately.

Saskatchewan authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who escaped from a northern Saskatchewan Correctional centre.

RCMP say 26-year-old Kobe Kiseyinewakup was last seen at the Besnard Lake Correctional Centre at around 8pm Monday evening.

Authorities say they are actively working to locate him.

Kiseyinewakup is described as five-foot-six and 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. (He is pictured above. Photo provided)

Anyone who spots Kiseyinewakup, or has information about where he may be located, was asked to contact the Pinehouse RCMP detachment or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
