The driver of the truck, a 22-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, received medical attention at the scene, and was arrested.

He faces charges of dangerous operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm and criminal negligence in the operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.

He made his first court appearance today at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Police continue to investigate the incident and ask anyone with information or recordings from the 2200–2400 blocks of 6th Avenue East to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
