Prince Albert Police are providing a timeline of events, leading to a homicide on Saturday.
On Friday, Everett Constant was arrested at a home in the Unit Block of 28th Street West.
He was transported to hospital, where it’s alleged he assaulted hospital staff. He was arrested and spent the night in jail.
Hours after his release from custody Saturday, officers were called to the same home over a family dispute.
Beverly Constant was pronounced dead at the scene, while Everett was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
An autopsy was ordered for Monday and Everett appeared in provincial court that same day.
