Bart Tsannie has been re-elected for his 5th term as Chief of the Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation.
The general election took place on Tuesday in the community.
Rounding out Chief in council was Joseph Joseyounen re-elected as Vice-Chief, as well as Glenda Mercredi, Madelyn Denechezhe, and Veronique Dzeylion re-elected as councilors.
Melinda Tsannie and Jaden Dzeylion are the newly elected councilors.
The entire chief and council have been sworn-in for 3-year terms.
