RCMP confirm the victim is Brianna Hayes of Oxbow. Tyler Japp has been charged with second-degree murder and will appear in court on Monday.

RCMP are investigating a homicide in the RM of Moose Mountain. Police said an unidentified woman was discovered at approximately Noon on Thursday and do not believe there are additional victims.
The Major Crimes Unit began investigating a potential homicide Wednesday, initially investigating the Oxbow landfill. However no human remains were found. The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service is working to identify the deceased.
Tyler Shaw from Gainsborough, has been arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder. He will appear in court today. A second man was taken into custody Thursday in Oxbow, pending further investigation.
There may be a continued increased police presence on White Bear First Nation and in the RM of Moose Mountain and Oxbow in relation to this ongoing investigation.
