A formal offer has been given to the Lac La Ronge Indian Band for its cows and plows settlement.
According to an update sent out to members of the band on Friday, a committee has now been set up to determine the best use of the funds.
The settlement committee will engage with members over several meetings in the coming weeks looking for feedback on how the funds should be used.
Once a financial plan is complete, a ratification date will be set for members to vote on the settlement.
The first meeting with the committee will be in La Ronge on April 21st.
