RCMP Major Crimes are investigating a suspicious death in Black Lake.
Mounties say on Wednesday evening, officers responded to a home to an injured man.
52-year-old Victor Robillard from Black Lake Denesuline First Nation was taken to hospital where he later died.
Authorities are reassuring there is no risk to public safety. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
