La Loche RCMP are investigating a shooting.
Mounties say just before midnight they received a report of an injured person at the hospital.
An investigation determined that a group of people were on the ice on Lac La Loche, when a woman was struck by a bullet.
She was treated in hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
