Northlands College has revamped their application process for future students applying to the school. The internal automated application management system makes it easier to apply to the school, check application statuses and streamlines the application process.

“The college is really committed to preparing learners for an industry defined by technology,” said President and CEO Karsten Henriksen. “Industry 4.0 is going to dramatically, and is already dramatically impacting how we work, and we’ll continue to invest and grow our capacity to support industries across northern Saskatchewan and prepare our learners for the future,”

Industry 4.0 is changing the way companies manufacture, improve, and distribute their products. Companies worldwide and in northern Saskatchewan are implementing new technologies like automation and AI machine learning to be more efficient. The Internal One-Click Application Management System at Northlands College is a pivotal step in that direction.

“We began reviewing all of our processes and systems in fall of 2022, and we just completed our 2023 year of transformation, so we began the process of implementing this new system in October of 2023 and we went live this week,” explained Henriksen.

The new system will also benefit staff at Northlands College by reducing a lot of the paperwork that went along with the old application process, additionally reducing the colleges environmental footprint.

The Application Management System is now available for perspective learners.
