A lucky man from Pinehouse Lake couldn’t believe it when he scanned his LOTTO MAX ticket on the Lotto Spot! App.
Alex Ross is the winner of the December 22 EXTRA draw, walking away with $250,000.
“I had to scan it a couple times just to make sure!” he laughed.
“I stayed pretty calm when I realized,” he said while claiming his prize. “But my wife was overwhelmed!”
Ross says he’s happy to be debt free thanks to the win and plans on taking his family on a trip.
Ross said that he and his wife both love the outdoors, but are always stuck in the office working, so he’s grateful that this win will allow them to breathe a bit and take a day or two off.
“I’m very grateful for this,” Ross said.
The $21 winning ticket was purchased at Pinehouse Lake Co-op Grocery, and Ross won by matching all seven digits of the EXTRA number draw-2349456.
