A man is facing 19 charges stemming from an incident in La Loche early Sunday morning.
Mounties allege that Tremaine Dacres forcibly held two women against their will at a home there. Authorities say he was armed with a firearm. One woman was able to flee. Dacres would later surrender.
The second woman would be taken to hospital and treated for serious injuries. Dacres is charged with aggravated assault and forcible confinement.
