The La Ronge woman charged with second-degree murder will appear in provincial court Monday morning.
Mary Bird is accused in the Saturday death of Wilfred Ballantyne at a home in the Lac La Ronge Indian Band community of Kitsaki.
RCMP responded to a home there early Saturday to locate a deceased Ballantyne.
The family has been notified and Mounties say to expect an increased police presence as they continue to investigate.
