A 20-year-old man is charged after an incident in La Loche Monday.
RCMP said in a media release sent out early Monday evening they were made aware that threats had been made by someone online against a school in the community. Police also announced they had arrested an adult man in relation to the threats.
Early Tuesday evening RCMP announced that Shawn Herman is facing two charges including uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Herman has been remanded into custody and is set to appear Thursday by video in La Loche Provincial Court.
