Schools in Deschambault Lake were put on lockdown this morning as RCMP investigated a possible discharge of a firearm.
Mounties say shortly before noon, officers received a report of bear mace being deployed at a home in that community and that a firearm may be involved.
Officers investigated, found no evidence of injury or property damage. Firearms were not seized and no arrests were made.
