A man wanted after a shooting earlier this month on the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation is now in custody.
RCMP said they arrested 31-year-old Dominic Ahenakew this past weekend at a home on the First Nation after they served a search warrant.
Ahenakew is charged with attempted murder and firearms related offenses after a man was shot outside a home in Ahtahkakoop on Aug. 8.
Police said they also arrested and charged 32-year-old Lanny Joesph Ahenakew, who is facing a range of charges including assault causing bodily harm and flight from police.
Both men were set to be in court Tuesday in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
