UPDATE

In a media release sent out Aug. 1, RCMP said they arrested Jake Toutsaint in Black Lake. Police said he was arrested without incident.

Toutsaint is set to appear by phone in La Ronge Provincial Court Thursday.

Black Lake RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a wanted man.

In a media release sent out Wednesday afternoon police said 28-year-old Jake Toutsaint is charged with 12 separate offences, including pointing a firearm and assault with a weapon.

RCMP said this past Monday in the late afternoon they were called after a man approached someone outside a business and pointed a gun before fleeing on an ATV. No one was injured during the altercation. Police said they responded and said the man on the ATV approached them several times, but fled when he was told he was under arrest.

Toutsaint is described as being six feet two inches tall and weighing around 190 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes along with a number of tattoos, including a skull motif on his lower back, writing on his right arm and a rosary on his right wrist.

Police said they consider Toutsaint to be armed and dangerous and are asking people who see him not to approach him.

Anyone with information on Toutsaint’s whereabouts is asked to call Black Lake RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
