A preliminary hearing is set for October for three people charged in the death of Jeremy Ernest.
Hannah Durocher, Tyson Lasas and Trevor Alexander are charged with second-degree murder in the homicide.
RCMP were called to the Waterhen Lake First Nation on Nov. 12, 2022, on a report of a man in medical distress.
Ernest would be declared deceased by EMS at the scene. Another person is charged with accessory to murder.
That matter is now before the Court of King’s Bench for a trial date.
