RCMP says it has identified human remains found last week on the Big Island Lake Cree Nation.
A forensic autopsy performed Tuesday indicates the remains belong to Dominic Kahpoonapit. Kahpoonapit was reported missing in December.
His remains were discovered last Wednesday near a home on the First Nation.
RCMP says the family has been notified and the investigation regarding the circumstances continues.
