Tammy Cook-Searson has been re-elected as chief of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
Cook-Searson received a total of 1502 votes, with the runner-up being John P. Roberts with 1102, followed by Bruce Fredrick McKenzie with 836 votes.
Those who were re-elected to council positions were John R. Halkett, Keith Mirasty, Gerald R. McKenzie, Norman P. Ross, Devin Bernatchez, Jimmy B. Charles, Linda A. Charles, Ann R. Ratt, and Sam H. Roberts.
Those who are new to the council position are Robin McKenzie, Dean Roberts, and Cheryline (Charlene) Venne.
The newly elected officials will serve three-year terms which will end in March of 2026.
