Carrot River RCMP are investigating after a child was struck by a school bus on the Red Earth Cree Nation.
According to police on April 5 the child had got off the bus and was travelling in the same direction as the bus when they were hit.
Paramedics and police both attended the scene but the eight year old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been laid and RCMP is continuing to investigate.
