Erica Beaudin is the new Chief of the Cowessess First Nation.
The former Executive Director of the Regina Treaty/Status Indian Services garnered 366 votes in an election held Monday.
Beaudin defeated three other candidates.
Outgoing Chief Cadmus Delorme, who served two terms as leader, declined to seek a third term.
Six people were elected to Council.
