One man from Toronto has been arrested and charged following a drug bust in La Ronge.

RCMP say as the result of an investigation officers searched two homes in the community finding approximately 150 grams of cocaine and crack, a sum of cash, trafficking paraphernalia, bear mace and a replica handgun.

As a result, Mounties say 26-year-old man Abdiaziz Mohamud from Toronto was arrested and faces a number of charges.

These include one count ofpossession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and one count, obstruct peace officer.

Mohamud was scheduled to appear in court in La Ronge on Monday.
