A 31-year-old woman from La Loche has died after two trucks collided on Highway 955 earlier this week.
RCMP say the collision happened on Wednesday afternoon at around 1:40pm, north of La Loche.
The 31-year-old woman was the driver of one of the trucks and was declared dead at the scene by EMS. RCMP say her family has been notified.
There were three other passengers in the truck and they were taken to hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver and sole occupant of the other truck was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as well.
Mounties say the collision continues to be under investigation.
