Update: The Prince Albert Police Service has confirmed Dwight Whitehead was found found deceased.
The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) is asking for the public to be on the lookout for a missing man.
FSIN said Dwight Whitehead is 32 years-old and was last seen in Prince Albert on New Years Eve around two in the morning walking away from the Comfort Inn Hotel. Whitehead was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and a hat. He did not have his winter jacket or cell phone.
Whitehead’s family has been conducting their own search for him along side the Prince Albert Police Service.
Anyone who has information is encouraged to call police in Prince Albert.
