A woman who was wanted on a warrant for Megan Gallagher’s murder is now in police custody with authorities believing she will be the last person arrested or charged.

24-year-old Summer-Sky Henry, was arrested on Wednesday in a west side neighborhood of Saskatoon.

Henry had been charged with the first-degree murder of Megan Gallagher last year with a warrant out for her arrest.

In addition to the murder allegation, Henry faces charges for robbery, unlawful confinement, careless storage of a firearm, possession of firearm without a license, possession for the purpose of trafficking, aggravated assault, and robbery with violence.

Henry appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court Thursday morning.

She is believed to be the last individual wanted in connection with Megan Gallagher’s murder.

Gallagher, a Metis woman from Saskatoon, went missing in September 2020 with her body found in the South Saskatchewan River near St. Louis this past fall.

A total of nine people have been charged in relation to Gallagher’s death with charges including forcible confinement, indignity to human remains and first-degree murder.

The four individuals charged with first-degree murder include Summer-Sky Henry, Robert James Thomas, Roderick Sutherland, and Cheyann Crystal Peeteetuce.
