After an over week-long search RCMP say the body of Lois Chartrand has been found.
Chartrand, was last seen picking mushrooms on August 5 along the Hanson Lake Road north of Smeaton.
An extensive search would be undertaken with several different police agencies and civillian volunteers asisting in the search.
Mounties say searchers located Chartrand’s body on Sunday.
She was found in a forested area around one kilometre from where she was last seen.
