The family of Ashley Morin are still searching for answers four years after her disappearance.

Ashley, a 31-year-old from Ahtahkakoop First Nation, went missing in July 2018. A year after her disappearance RCMP would begin investigating her death as a homicide.

Ashley’s family is planning a walk in her honour this weekend from Saskatoon to North Battleford. The walk will begin Friday morning at 9am at the Saskatoon Police Service building with plans to arrive in North Battleford Sunday evening.

Every year since her disappearance Ashley’s family has took part in this walk, however, her cousin Mike Bird says this will be the last awareness walk for the family.

“But in saying that we are not giving up and we will continue to try and get answers,” he told reporters outside SPS headquarters in Saskatoon on Thursday.

Bird says it has been a long four years.

“Help us bring Ashley home… she needs to come home.”

The family is offering a $25,000 reward for any information leading to answers on Ashley’s disappearance. Bird says he expects this reward to increase to over $30,000 as donations come in throughout the weekend.

Anyone who may have any information on the 2018 disappearance of Ashley Morin is asked to call Crime Stoppers or the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit.
