Montreal Lake and Waskesieu RCMP are advising the public of an increased police presence in the Old Subdivision on Montreal Lake Cree Nation.
The RCMP have provided few details on the situation, however, people are asked to avoid the areas where police are present and follow any police direction provided.
Mounties say they will provide an update with more information as soon as they are able.
If a risk to public safety is identified, the public will be notified.
