The woman accused of arson, which destroyed the Senator Allen Bird Memorial Centre in Prince Albert has asked a provincial court judge to allow her to attend a drug rehabilitation program in Manitoba.
Gina Beatty was in court Wednesday, where her defense attorney asked the judge for permission to participate in the one-year program.
Beatty would attend while on probation, but be monitored electronically.
The Judge has asked the probation officer to prepare a report to see if Beatty could participate in the program.
