A La Loche woman is facing a second-degree murder charge, following an incident early Saturday morning.
RCMP allege officers received a report of an injured man being transported privately to the hospital.
Mounties and EMS would locate the vehicle on Garson Lake Road, where the victim Ryan Piche of the Clearwater River Dene Nation would be pronounced dead.
Melissa Laprise is charged. She appeared in court Monday.
