A 21-year-old man has died after a reported shooting on Red Pheasant First Nation.
RCMP say the man’s body was found by officers on a roadway in the community early Sunday morning.
An investigation would determine the man was in a verbal altercation at a home on the First Nation earlier that evening where he was reportedly fatally injured.
The man’s family has been notified
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit say is investigating the matter, which has lead to an increased RCMP presence in the community.
The RCMP have not announced any arrests or charges at this time.
