The Buffalo River Dene Nation selected a new chief and mostly new councillors when they hit the polls Friday.
Norma Catarat is now in the top leading spot.
Surrounding her at the council table will be Colin Catarat, Dallas Billette, Merle Catarat, Terrance Byhette and Louis Chanalquay.
Chanalquay is the only councilor to be re-elected.
The Nation also elected Elmer Campbell and Lavina Catarat to be the trustees for the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range settlement.
The new chief and councillors will be sworn into office Monday.
