A 21-year-old has been arrested after an armed robbery Tuesday evening in a village near Lloydminster.
RCMP say they received reports of a robbery at a business in Paradise Hill and investigation showed a man entered the business, took an individual’s vehicle keys and fled the scene in the vehicle.
Police tracked the man down on a highway and used a spike track to get the vehicle stopped.
Jesse Lewis from Onion Lake was arrested after a short foot chase and charged with six offences including robbery with a restricted firearm and assault with a weapon.
Lewis will appear by video in North Battleford Provincial Court Friday morning.
