A teenager from the La Ronge RCMP Detachment area has been arrested and charged in relation to a homicide in Air Ronge that happened Jan. 8.
The boy, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with first degree murder and robbery.
RCMP say investigators don’t think the teen and the victim, who has now been identified as Jennifer Hendry, knew each other.
They also say they are not looking for any other suspects in relation to this case.
The teen, whose age isn’t being released as police say it may identify him, has made his first appearance in La Ronge provincial court and will remain in custody until his next appearance Jan. 27.
RCMP say the person in their previously released video has been identified.
