UPDATE: RCMP say Tanner Ballantyne was arrested without incident on Friday, January 21.  He will be remanded into custody until his next court appearance on January 25.


Pelican Narrows RCMP are looking for a man wanted on multiple charges.

Police say they received reports of a shooting in the community in the early morning of Dec. 31.

An injured man was then found at a residence in Pelican and was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

22-year-old Tanner Ballantyne is wanted on five charges including discharging a firearm with intent and aggravated assault.

Ballantyne is described as 5’11”, weighing 155 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

RCMP say he has connections to Pelican Narrows and Prince Albert, and is considered armed and dangerous.

If seen, RCMP advise the public to not approach him and to call police or CrimeStoppers.
