RCMP are investigating the homicide of a woman in Air Ronge.
La Ronge RCMP say the woman was killed in a home on Waco Drive early Saturday morning.
Few other details on the homicide have been released at this time and no word yet on any suspects.
Investigators do believe there may have been other property-related crimes in the area at the time and are asking anyone in the area to determine if they were the victim of a crime.

Several RCMP units are helping in the investigation including Major Crime, Police Dog Services, Historical Case Unit, Technological Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Services.
The Village of Air Ronge also released a statement on the incident.
They reminded residents to ask for help if they’re struggling with their mental health. They also encouraged community members to remain extra caution, advising them to lock their doors, turn their outdoor lights on and check in with neighbours.
