Two men are facing attempted murder charges and another man is in critical condition after being shot several times on Muskoday First Nation.

RCMP say the man was shot multiple times at different locations in the community this past Saturday before he was able to receive help from another civilian. The civilian then drove the victim to a safe place when emergency services were called.

Mounties say the man is in hospital in critical condition.

RCMP say officers then entered a home in the community where three men were arrested.

As a result, two of the men, Brandon Bear and Patrick Bear, have been arrested and are facing several charges including attempted murder.

Police say the third man was released without charges.

Brandon Bear and Patrick Bear made their first court appearances on Tuesday.

RCMP continues their investigation and is looking for two stolen vehicles.
