RCMP says an investigation into a suspicious death on Red Earth Cree Nation is underway.
Mounties say officers responded to an altercation at a home in the community early Tuesday morning.
Few details have been released on the alleged altercation, but RCMP says one man died at the scene.
No one has been arrested or charged in relation to the altercation, but RCMP is warning of an increased police presence on Red Earth Cree Nation while the investigation is underway.
Several RCMP units including the Major Crime Unit and the Police Dog Service are helping in the investigation.
Authorities say more details will be released to the public as they become available.
