A man from Black Lake has been charged with aggravated assault.
Black Lake RCMP received a report around 11 p.m. Saturday of an assault that happened on the First Nation.
Police located an injured man on a road in the community and he was then transported to hospital with serious injuries.
35-year-old Donny Robillard was arrested four hours later and was charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
Robillard will appear in court in Black Lake on March 1.
