The Onion Lake Cree Nation has launched an app to connect with its members.
Using the Communikit Platform, the mobile app will send out job opportunities, community events, COVID-19 updates and other important information.
In a statement, chief Henry Lewis said using the app to give band members updates is “vital to ensuring economic, ecological and personal prosperity for our membership.”
The app also allows members to send feedback to the band.
Onion Lake Cree Nation is located 50 km north of Lloydminster in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
