A 29-year-old man has died after an alleged assault in Prince Albert this past weekend.
Police say early Saturday afternoon 29-year-old Jeremy Charles was discovered unconscious on the 700 block of 18th street west. Police believe Charles was assaulted.
The 29-year-old was taken to Victoria Hospital before being transferred to a hospital in Regina with serious injuries.
Charles died in Regina on Monday.
Police are considering his death suspicious and ask anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact the police. They are also asking anyone who may know of Charles’ whereabouts in the days leading up to the alleged assault to contact them as well.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
