A youth is facing a first-degree murder charge after a homicide in Choiceland.
According to the RCMP, a 37-year-old woman was found dead in a home in the community this past Friday morning.
One person was taken into custody at the scene.
Very few details were released, but RCMP are now saying they charged a youth with the woman’s murder.
RCMP have not said if the youth and the woman were known to each other.
The youth faces one charge of first-degree murder and was scheduled for a court appearance in Melfort Monday morning.
