A 30-year-old man is dead following an incident on Moosomin First Nation.
The RCMP say they responded to reports of an altercation in a home in the community early Sunday morning. When they arrived, mounties say they discovered an injured man outside the residence.
Catlin Frenchman was pronounced dead on the scene.
Few other details have been made known at this time and Major Crimes is currently investigating with help from North Battleford RCMP, Saskatchewan RCMP General Investigation Section, RCMP Police Dog Services, RCMP Forensic Identification Services and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers or the RCMP.
No one has been arrested and no charges have been laid at this time.
Moosomin First Nation is approximately 35 kilometres north of North Battleford.
